1% For The Planet and Hands-On Education

Hands-On Education is giving back 1% of all sales, not profits, to environmental causes.

Hands-On Education, a global educational resources company, are delighted to join into a partnership with 1% For The Planet. Since 2002 1% For The Planet have given millions to environmental partners. Today, 1% for the Planet’s global network consists of thousands of businesses and environmental partners working toward a better future.

The membership is designed to be a simple way for businesses to give back and get involved in global environmental projects. For every topic, book or year group that is sold from Hands-On Education's inventory, and from the wider profits made by it's parent, Fair Consultancy Group, the company will give one percent of sales to 1% For The Planet. Currently, most of this is done through our partnership with One Tree Planted. This non-profit have more than doubled the number of trees planted each year, and are working with partners across 80+ countries in North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Pacific.
