+ Fossils Activities

How do I use this activity?

In this activity your child will find out about coprolite, which is fossilised animal poo. They will consider how this trace fossil is created and how it can be used to find out about the behaviour and diet of extinct animals. They will create a model of a coprolite fossil using their imagination to consider which animal it may have belonged to and whether that animal was a carnivore or herbivore.
