Body Percussion

In this activity your child will develop an awareness of their body and experiment with the different sounds they can make through body percussion. They will develop skills in counting and making a steady beat.

Throughout our five Music topics your child will play games to discover body percussion, make up silly rhythms and enjoy listening to recorded music. Design and create your own musical instruments. This topic contains 5 activities with accompanying activity sheets. In addition, it covers the following key aspects of the National Curriculum in England: Design & Technology, Music, Physical Education and Science.
