+ Measurements: Two Activities

How do I use these activities?

This activity is a great way to introduce your child to measurement and recording. By finding objects around the house and placing them in a line measuring one metre, they can learn about the concept of length and how to measure it accurately. Drawing around these objects as a record also helps to reinforce the idea of measurement as a visual representation.

This activity meets the Mathematics and Science aspects of the National Curriculum of England.
