How do I use the Amphibians Activities?

This activity is a great way for your child to learn about amphibians and their key features. By creating a poster, they will be able to showcase their understanding of the basic structure of common amphibians. Amphibians are unique creatures that can live both on land and in water. They have smooth, moist skin and lay their eggs in water. Some common amphibians include frogs, toads, and salamanders.

By identifying the key features of these animals, such as their webbed feet and ability to breathe through their skin, your child will gain a greater appreciation for the diversity of life on Earth. This resource aligns with the Science aspect of the National Curriculum of England and is just one of many Key Stage One topics available for your classroom or home education needs.

If you are interested in exploring other animal groups such as reptiles, mammals, or fish, Hands-On Education provides a wide range of videos, activity sheets, and easy-to-understand activity plans to support children in their learning journey.
